Twin Lakes College has been much more then a school for me, it has been a wonderful community that has supported and guided me as I transitioned into my new career as a massage practitioner.
The teachers I have had are amazingly talented and have given me wonderful information and advice. I feel a step ahead of the game because of the great techniques and tricks of the trade I have learned from them. The classes I have taken at Twin Lakes taught me more then just massage moves; I learned about myself and my own body as well as how to share my new knowledge with my clients in an interesting and respectful way.
Twin Lakes College is a fabulous school with a wealth of resources, an abundance of compassionate and caring teachers and I find myself constantly wanting to come back and take more classes as often as possible!
TLC folks are awesome—from the office staff and teachers, to the helpers and volunteers. I enjoy going to the school to be around such great people as much as I do the classes!

I really got a lot out of Kayla’s class “Journey Through the Tarot.” I was actually looking for an astrology class when I found this class on the internet. I learned a lot about the tarot, numerolgy and even some astrology. I highly recommend Kayla as a teacher, she’s engaging, funny and very knowledgeable, I looked forward to my class every week! I’m now more than capable of doing tarot readings and I'm really enjoying it. Thanks so much Kayla!
From the moment I entered Twin Lakes College I knew it would be a life changing experience. I had researched other schools, but at Twin Lakes the staff was warm and inviting like old friends who are always ready to help you succeed. During my training, and subsequent classes the instructors poured their heartfelt energy into each and every one of us. They imparted knowledge from their experiences as massage therapists and business people working in the community. They would give you real solutions for real problems.
The school’s core philosophy centers on the “Client–Centered Approach” and how to address the client’s need to feel safe and comfortable during their time in your care. In this world of frantic living people need to know they are being heard and cared for especially during their time on your table, and that makes the difference between a ho hum massage and a great one. This philosophy is not a foreign belief to me, but including it in an active work environment is where the rubber meets the road, and the instructors showed me by example how to include it in my work.
I continue to take classes at TLC by delving deeper into different modalities of massage. I find the school’s ability to balance my well being with further knowledge an enjoyable way to learn. I would recommend Twin Lakes College to anyone who seeks not only to learn art of massage but to those who see it as a calling to help others.
